Wat Yarn
Built in 1975, Wat Yansangwararam (Wat Yarn)
covers an extensive area and is surrounded by
scenic hilly landscapes. the complex of templs
is made up of various religious buildings
including an International Pavillion on the
pond-side. One kilometre from the temple is a
Chinese style structure called Viharnra Sien
built by Thais of Chinese descendancy.
Within the beautiful structure are housed
Chinese antiquities and an exhibition of
Chinese religious artifacts. Another special
attraction is the Buddha Image caste on the
Khao Chi Chan cliff by laser beams. The temple
is located to the east of Bang Saray
approximately 10 kilometres from Sukhumvit
Road. |

Suan Nong Nooch
About 4 kilometres north of Bang Saray is the
impressive Nong Nooch Gardens. This
sprawling recreation park in a typical Thai
setting is made up of groups of traditional Thai
Houses and Gardens of different flowering
plants which are dotted around the beautifully
landscaped site. There are plenty of cultural
shows and you have the opportunity to see
some of the local wildlife such as Elephants
and Tigers. |

Pattaya
Located only 16 kilometres north of Bang
Saray, Pattaya has developed over recent
times into a bustling metropolis where it is
possible to shop at international boutiques,
dine at a huge variety of international
restaurants and enjoy the vibrant nightlife on
the popular Walking Street.

Jomtien
Only “over the hill” from Pattaya lies
Jomtien...Jomtien is rapidly becoming a holiday

kilometres from the centre of Pattaya, Jomtien

Samae San
Another village offering good fishing
opportunities is Samae San, located some 17
kilometres further from the Sattahip deep-
water port. There are bungalow-type
accommodations and tourists can charter boats
to enjoy fishing around the nearby islands. All
these small islands are under the jurisdiction of
the Thai Navy and are generally uninhabited
with superb beaches and crystal clear water. |
